Cody, Clark, Cole, Custom (C⁴)

C⁴ is a cheesy little “Bomb” sticker that we came up with to represent what goes on behind the scenes at True Fabrication. Since we are a trio of partners we each bring individual strengths to the table when it comes time to fabricate a frame. Cody will spend most of his time speaking with the customers, gathering information about their likes & dislikes, body types and desired ride quality for their new frame. He will formulate a plan by recommending tube selection as it pertains to butting profiles, tubing diameters, and shapes. He will then take this plan and bring it to Clark and Cole. Together the three of them go over it and sign off on the final design before going into the production phase. During the production phase Cole and Clark will set the jig, miter the tubes, file and fit everything together and then begin the welding process. Clark and Cole (& Cody too) are all capable of doing any portion of the process but usually you will find Clark welding front triangles while Cole is fabricating and welding the rear triangle. Cody is usually there to hand bend and hand file the curved braces then he referees as Clark and Cole fight over who gets to do braze-ons. Most often the guy with the torch in his hand wins!

Once fabrication is completed the frame will be media blasted and then sent off to powder coating. When the frame returns the custom stainless head tube badge and stickers are applied. Afterwards, the frame is completely faced and chased (disc brake boss too!) before being packaged up and shipped out. There you have it! This is the story behind the Cody, Clark, Cole Custom (C4).
