Cycling….Hmmm, I would have to say that I have been around cycling for a number of years. Not that I was on the bike all those years. It is mainly because many of my friends are cyclists. It just took awhile for it to get into my blood. Once you get it….its always there.I’d say that my main passion in life revolves around building….things. My degree is a Bachelor of Fine Art, with formal training in the arts. I’m definitely a hands-on type of person. I’m an artist/sculptor and I look at building bikes as kinetic sculpture.
Wow, someone making a living in the arts! NOT! Of course the arts don’t pay the bills. Maybe one day. My day job is in education on the community college level. At least that’s in the arts.
I’m recently married to an incredible woman, who fortunately came into my life after cycling…the arts and building bikes. Otherwise, there’s a lot of explaining to be done.
I feel very blessed to be part of something that began on a long car ride home from Colorado in July of 2005. And just as my partners, I’m building bikes for the love of it!
